Freshman, Anna Vogt, and Sophomore, Arianna Slupik, participated and performed in the Loyola Bourgeois Honor Band at Loyola University New Orleans. In this ensemble, they had
the chance to play with collegiate level musicians on challenging repertoire, performing alongside the Loyola University Wind Ensemble. The concert was held on November 11, 2017 in Roussel Hall. The concert and rehearsals were under the conducting and direction of Colonel J.R. Bourgeois, former music director of the President's Own Marine Band, and Dr. Serena
Weren, Director of Bands at Loyola University. Our students came back humbled and eager to learn more.
