On a evening with fine weather and absolutely no rain whatsoever during the parade, the Pope John Paul Jaguar Band (and some helpful friends) marched the Krewe of Selene's 2018 Parade in Slidell, LA. The theme was "Selene Through the Years." This is the first year Pope John Paul II High School was invited to participate in the Krewe of Selene. The Band was stationed behind float #9, an Adams Family Float. Throughout the evening our musicians could be heard playing the "PJP II Fight Song," "Happy," "Paint It Black," "Land of 1000 Dances," "25 or 6 to 4," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You." We are very proud of our musicians, who played the Fight Song with great ardor at the bandstand! We are looking forward to what next Mardi Gras season will bring!
