Rachel Berman serves as the Director of Music at Pope John Paul II High School in Slidell, Louisiana. Ms. Berman received her Bachelor's in Music Education from Loyola University New Orleans in the Spring of 2017. As an oboe and saxophone player, she performed as a member of the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Woodwind Quintet, and the Loyola Jazz Band. Along with instrumental music she also performed with the Loyola University Chorale. She is an Alumni Member of the Theta Psi chapter of  Sigma Alpha Iota.

 

Ms. Berman is a member of the National Association for Music Education and the Louisiana Music Educators Association. She is committed to building the music programs at Pope John Paul II High School, and shaping the young musicians of the generations to come.
